Tell us how engineering has changed your day-to-day life.
This competition is the best thing since sliced bread. Well, that may be a slight exaggeration because sliced bread is pretty up there in my books!
My point (and I promise I do have a point), is that Create 2011 wants to know how innovative engineering has changed your daily life... sliced bread included!
Have a think about the different engineering elements you come across while going about your usual day and tell us how they affect you. Think about things like the iPhone4, the MRT, even basic home appliances and fill out the competition form below.

Lots of new little bits and pieces to make playing Habbo even easier
This week we've updated Habbo with a few small usability improves to make playing Habbo even easier.
First of all, we've made it easier to put multiple items in your room. No longer do you have to open your inventory, click on a tile or patch, put it down, and then click again in the inventory- now you can lay your tiles one by one without having to return to the inventory.
Also to make it easier to pick up items from your room, just click on an item while holding down Ctrl and the item will jump into your inventory.
We've also updated the achievements to make them clearer and no longer will longer names be cut off.
You can now link to outside web pages from Habbo- just type the url into your speech and it should appear as a link o...

You’d be forgiven for thinking the food industry is completely shallow. Think about it, how much is actually based on looks? You check out a restaurant to see what the vibes like, view the menu to see what looks good to eat and suss out the staff to make sure no dirty, greasy Ke$ha lookalikes are handling your order - all before you’ve even tasted the food!
The same goes for event invitations... if it looks good you’ll attend! So we want you to design an invitation for a food event. It could be something like a dinner party, bake-off, opening day at a local pizza shop... whatever! The design of the invitation is in your hands so use your creativity and be original!

In the past we’ve seen your restaurant designs, but what about something a little closer to home? We're putting out a call for Habboised versions of your real-life home kitchens!
How to Enter:
1. Take a photo of your Kitchen at home. Please make sure there is no identifying information in your picture such as faces, bills on the fridge etc.

How to Enter:
- Get creative and come up with a funny, entertaining cooking show segment.

It may not be a request to eat only blue M&M’S and drink from bendy straws, but one Hollywood heartthrob is acting like a total spana... and this time it’s not Mariah Carey (shock! horror!)
Taylor Lautner recently slapped an RV company with a $40,000 lawsuit after failing to meet his demands. Apparently the Twilight star suffered “emotional stress” when his customized trailer wasn’t delivered on time.
But in a double dose of crazy the owner of the RV company has hit back with a suggestion we’re secretly hoping Taylor will accept (and possibly post on YouTube). The offer is a good old-fashioned push up contest! If the businessman wins he’ll donate the entire $40,000 to a children’s hospital. Sounds like a fair deal to us! If only all the world...

Last month the StrayPixels pixel art competition took a crack at making a blow-your-mind-out-punch-punch-kick character select screen for an imaginary fighting game. After the weekend hiatus, the new log in system is back on!
This will be old news to most of you, as the majority of Habbos on .com have been using this method of logging in for quite a while...
However, starting today, everyone will have to log in to the Hotel using their email address instead of their Habbo name.
This change has been a long time coming, and is put in place for security reasons. Better safety for you and your Habbo!

We have noticed that some users haven't been able to login to Habbo.com, due to our recent security update. We are truly sorry for this. We're working hard to fix the issues you've reported to us. To allow all of you to play Habbo,we've re-enabled the old character name based login for the weekend.

Having trouble logging into Habbo nowadays because your account is linked to Facebook?
If you have been been unable to log into Habbo due to the fact that your account is linked to your Facebook account please follow the steps below to remove the Facebook association from your account. Once this has been done you should be able to log into Habbo using your email or username.
1. Sign into Facebook
2. Go to your Account drop down menu and click "Application Settings"
3. Click the "x" beside the Habbo Hotel application

When Glee turns to glum.
It just goes to show that sometimes power ballads, sequined costumes and even spirit fingers can’t mend a broken heart.
Things haven’t been peachy on the Glee set recently after co-stars Mark Salling and Naya Rivera’s relationship turned sour (or should it be scrambled?) You know what they say about mixing business with pleasure... baaaaad idea.
The lovebirds never confirmed they were an official item, but all that changed when Naya was caught egging and keying Mark’s uber expensive Lexus after hearing rumors of infidelity. Ouch! "Hell hath no fury like a Cheerio scorned" ;) I guess that wiped the cheesy, over-whitened smile right off his face!
But the show must go on Habbos!.. in the form of this week’s deal of course. For just 10 Credits...
