Habbo has been updated!
Some news about the latest update and what it means for Habbo.com to be the new Pilot site! We have been working hard this summer, doing a lot of fixes "under the hood" so that Habbo can run smoother than ever before, and these fixes are now live in Habbo.com. Some of you have been asking why, after an update, can the Hotel be a bit bumpy and slow? That's because Habbo.com is the new Pilot site for Habbo. Being the Pilot site means that we get to launch and test out new, cool features (and occasionally Furni, yay!) first, to make sure they work well before they are released to the rest of the Habbo world. Receiving strange emails in your inbox? It has come to our attention that some users are receiving emails pretending to be sent from Habbo or Hotel Staff. These emails ask you to re-verify your email address and re-activate your account or your Habbo will be deleted. Please be aware that these emails were not sent by Habbo and are being used to gain access to your account by sending you to scamming / phishing sites. - Never follow links from emails to services, even when the messages look trustworthy. Type the address in your browser instead and be careful because many scamming sites look exactly like ours in an attempt to fool you into entering your username and password.

If another user has your password they can access your account, your Coins, your Furni and also your Group Pages and your Friendlist. Hotel Staff will never ask for your password, either on the site or via email. When it comes to choosing the right password, what should you do? Pew! What’s that smell? If you think your neighbors do things just to annoy you, spare a thought for DJ AM. Last year the famous DJ to the stars tragically died, but even those that lived closest won’t let him rest in peace. Recently a lawsuit was filed by a neighbor claiming that he often noticed a "gaseous foul odor and/or smell" coming from AM's property... If you’re now thinking what I was thinking you’ve probably watch too many CSI episodes. Anyways! The nasty neighboreeno is suing for more than $25,000 in damages (What the? Damages to his nose?) Apparently after AM’s death a broken sewer pipe was found on the property and I guess you could say human waste hit the fan (to put it nicely). The Habbo Mall Returns
We're back like a summer blockbuster...let the construction begin! Well, the title is a little misleading. The Habbo Mall never really left. It's still been one of the hottest spots to hang out in the whole Hotel since day one! If you're a Habbo regular, there's a good chance that the Mall was packed full of people most of the time during your visit. What the Habbo Mall returning is really about...is the competitions we'll be holding every two weeks to add a new store or area to the Mall! Habbo Groups Return!
Slowly, but surely, Habbo Groups are returning to Habbo.com Yep, it's true!
We are doing this country by country, starting with groups from Habbo Australia. We're porting over the front pages at first, then discussion forums will follow later. If no problems arise with the migration of the AU groups, the groups from CA, SG and UK will be migrated as soon as possible. Unfortunately, this is a very slow process... We have to take our time moving the group pages so that the Hotel isn't affected by lag or other problems while we migrate the groups. Thank you all so much for your patience!

Habbo has been updated with new features for HabboID What's new with HabboID? Now you view all the different ways you can access your Habbo account and add and remove sign in methods for your account. You can access your sign in options screen by clicking on your Habbo avatar after signing in, and then clicking the Manage account link. The Manage account screen shows you the various ways you can sign into your Habbo account. Clicking the "Editing Sigining in options" button will take you to the Signing In page. The Signing In page allows you to delete an authentication method, add a new one, and merge a Habbo ID to the current identity. To delete an authentication method go to the Authentication Methods page and click Remove Method which will show the Delete buttons next to each authentication provider. Not...
