Bring out the popcorn! With the Oscars fast approaching, we've been planning to open up the cinema for midnight screenings of Habbos' favourite films. Unfortunately, when we started cleaning up the projector box, we discovered Kitty on the floor, gorging on butter popcorn and tangled up in meters and meters of film. Seems that greasy paws and film aren't very compatible (unlike, say, Jack and Rose) 'cos when we attempted to view the movies, all we could see were Kitty's pawprints projected all over the place. Habbolympics Closing Ceremony
It's time to switch off the Winter Olympic torch for another two years... It's been a fun, event-filled two weeks here in the US Hotel. Everything from games to a fantastic art competition have given you the chance to earn points for your team. In the end though only one team can stand at the top of the podium. From the start the Snow Shredders took a commanding lead with the Arctics close at their heels. But in the end the Arctics could not overcome and take the lead. The battle for the Bronze Medal spot has been a close one between the Olympicapitalists and the Olympiholics but in the final event the Olympiholics managed to earn the same number of Gold Medals as the Olympicapitalists. Congratulations to our four teams and all of you Habbos who participated in our Winter Habbolympic games!

I first read the book My Sister's Keeper and it was excellent. I was a bit hesitant about the movie as I heard that the ending is changed completely, but I went in with an open mind and I'm glad I did. Although the endings are completely opposite, if you look at the book and the film as two separate stories, then you will enjoy the movie.
