Winter Habbolympics Closing Ceremony
Today from 4:30pm AEDT. The past week has seen some fierce competition but now that the Winter Habbolympic Games are over, it’s time to celebrate! The overall medal tally looks a lil’ something like this:
Congratulations to the members of the Boarders, Snow Queens and Officials - you’ve each won a gold, silver or bronze Habbolympics Badge! 2010 Habbolympics Week 2 Game Schedule!

Even though the real Winter Olympics have ended we still have four more days of glorious events and chances to score some medals and earn points for your teams. Fairytale Collection
Join us on a journey through the magical world of Fairytales. The Magical Bookcase in the corner of the Habbo Office has had all of the books from our Fairytale Collection stolen! Throughout March, we are going in search of the missing books and we will be sharing them all with you as we find them, so that you can fill your own Magical Bookcase and get a special prize from the Habbo Fairy Godmother. There are a total of 10 Fairytales to be explored and we will be asking you to create the inspanidual rooms to depict them as well as submitting a Habbo version of the story and the scripts for the Bot characters within the Fairytale. We will then use all of your competition entries to create a quest, in which we will search for the inspanidual missing Fairytale books. Grab your Magical Bookcas...

Little Red Riding Hood
Fairytale 1 of 10 explores the world of Little Red Riding Hood. Little Red Riding Hood has been busy all morning baking cakes at her house. Once they have cooled, she wraps them in a basket and then puts on her special red jacket and shoes. She's on her way to Grandma's house to deliver the freshly cooked treats, but that means passing through the woods. As she makes her way through the thick shrubbery and dense woodland, she thinks she spots a wolf staring at her. The woods are very dangerous and she hurries on her way to Grandma's without stopping for breathe. Once she arrives at Grandma's house, her Grandma looks very strange indeed! Is it really her Grandma? Could it be the wolf that she thought she saw in the woods? What ever will happen to Little Red Riding Hood now?

StrayPixels faces the... :O
And many other expressions. None of which resemble Carrot-Top. Luckily. We spent the past month in StrayPixels making funny faces in our mirrors. Which, now that I think about it, isn't too dissimilar from what we normally do... but this time we applied those expressions to our Habbo avatars. After a month of x_x :'( :D :3 ^o^ O_O our floor is still wet with crocodile tears and the remaining ashes of spontaneously combusting rage filled Habbos. HC Clothes Try Out
Have you thought joining Habbo Club but you are still not sure if the exclusive line of clothing is really you? You can now try them out in the client! Head into the Hotel, click your head in the menu and "Change your clothes" to try on different pieces of HC clothing for fit. Only difference is that without the HC membership you cannot save your HC outfit. However, if you like what you see, join Habbo Club and you are free to save and show your new clothes to your friends! Of course this is not the only thing you get by joining HC, but something to tell if you really are ready to enter the VIP class...

News of a brand new feature that aims to help you pinpoint your friend requests. It's a problem that some stumble across more often than others, but ultimately we all do at some point. We're in a room, having fun and we only notice our friend requests once we've already left the room. How can we possibly remember who all the friend requests are from, after all, what's in a name? The new friend request bubble feature aims to help you overcome this problem by showing you exactly who has sent you a friend request, right there and then. Another year has come and gone, and we bid a bold farewell to the HabbOlympics Tournament. How did your team do? In first place we had the Olympic Officials with a staggering 547 points (that's the equivalent of over 182 gold medals, or 273 silver medals, or even 547 bronze medals!). They found themselves at the top of the Leaderboard through-out the tournament, and lived up to their scientific approach of winning and boy, they had the right formula! In second place came the Snow Queens with 361 points. They might be beautiful spanas, but they are pleased to be coming runners-up and kept the pressure up on all teams. We're Going Cross-Country!
Do you want to be the very best? One of the most arduous and difficult sports in the Winter Olympics is the Langlauf, or cross-country skiing, event. Here, athletes, bundled up in state-of-the-art winter attire, race across the country to make it to a pre-determined finish line. It's a tough sport — aside from competing against other athletes, you're also competing against the terrible weather, and possibly getting lost or going completely off the map. While we won't ask you to don your skis and hie off across the country, we've opened up a series of Langlauf mazes for everyone to cross. Habbo's Film Appreciation Festival
Roll out the red carpet for a two week celebration of movies! Make your own, join the fun and win prizes! It's been quite a year for the movie business. Actually, 2009 was the biggest year ever!
